It started way back before college when I first picked up a camera and fell in love. After graduating from Central Washington University I moved to Southern California and worked with several well known wedding photographers and local studios. It wasn't until I moved back to Washington that I learned about Birth Photography. I also began exploring a more photojournalist/lifestyle approach to my portraits.
The gift of being allowed to photograph someone is not something I take lightly. To be allowed into their space and record their day, record their birth experience, or simply record them/their children is a privilege that I do my best to acknowledge.
